Cloisonné
Cloisonné
is a type of artwork method. Accessary is one of popular forms of
cloisonné ware. Some arists make dish or pot. OPA makes a
mural.
Cloisonné
is known to last. Because it is made with glass and metal. After
placing colored glass powder on metal, it is burned until glass
melt and stay. Inside of kiln, it heats up around 1500F (800C).
OPA uses copper as the base metal and repeats coloring and burning
several times to finish one piece.

Durability
is not the only feature of cloisonné. Its colorful
glass material which is placed on the base metal can be quite
vivid. Method itself are found over a millennium ago all over
the world. It arrived Japan in 16th century. Some of old Japanese
cloisonné ware are loved and owned by collectors in America and Europe.
